Students starting classes at Gloucester High School on Monday can look forward to moving into a newly renovated Hall “D,” now called Hall 300, as renovations at the school have progressed faster than planned.
“It was quite a whirlwind summer,” said Charles Records, construction/project coordinator for Gloucester County Public Schools.
Over the summer, 300 Hall received a new roof, HVAC systems, windows, paint, flooring, lighting, and plumbing. Also completed by ET Gresham over the summer months were the media center/library, common rooms, cafeteria, kitchen, music room, choir room, and theater room.
“The work we did over the summer allowed us to open a lot of new restrooms,” Records said.
Currently under construction are the girls’ locker rooms, expanded learning area and C Hall, which will be known as 200 Hall. The girls’ locker room is scheduled for completion in December.
