Porsha Williams remembers her cousin Yolanda “Londie” Favors two weeks after her death, on what would have been her birthday.
Favors, who was on Bravos The Real Housewives of Atlanta: Porsha’s Family Mattersdied on August 7 at the age of 34, two weeks before her birthday.
“Happy heavenly birthday to my beautiful little cousin @londieknowsbest!” Williams shared in an Instagram post with a video of Favors celebrating her birthday.
She continued, “It’s too hard to put all my feelings into words. I love you always 🕊️💔🙏🏾 Thank you for being with me today. I felt your calming presence.”
Williams had previously announced that they would commemorate their cousin on Friday, August 23rd, in Atlanta, Georgia.
Favors’ family released a statement honoring her life, describing her as a person “known for her kindness, generosity and unwavering devotion to her family and community. Her constant and persistent pursuit of joy and beauty was inspiring and allowed her to bring a triumphant and radiant energy wherever she went.”
“She worked passionately as a creative director, event planner and interior designer, positively impacting the lives of many with her strategic creativity, eye for beauty, dedication and spirit,” Hosea Williams’ statement said.
Williams had memorialized her cousin on the day of her death, calling her “our best friend, our sister, our aunt, our cousin and so much more.”
“Your life was a blessing, your memories a treasure and you are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure,” Williams wrote on Instagram on August 7.
Williams continued, “The impact and value you gave to all of us during your time here was tremendous, but we know your spirit will be with us every day, guiding us through this difficult time and what is to come. For that, we are eternally grateful. Love you always, dear little cousin.”
