Juvenile has publicly criticized American Airlines after the rapper and his wife were reportedly kicked out of first class on a recent flight to Dallas.
The “Back That Azz Up” rapper posted on Instagram Live while he and his wife were told by flight attendants that he had to move from first class to economy class. When Juvie refuses to leave his seat, his wife can be heard telling them to sit in their assigned seats.
Juvenile eventually told them that he would rather just get off the plane than allow them to “disrespect him in this way.”
“I’m a celebrity,” he said. “I’m telling you, there will be consequences. There will be consequences because I’m going to get off the plane. I’m going to get off the plane. I’m not going to let you treat me with such disrespect. I’m not going to let you single me out of all the people on the plane and treat me with disrespect. So I’m going to get off the plane.”
Juvenile later posted another video showing his previously booked flights, many of them on American Airlines. “I think I know first class,” he said. “Fuck American Airlines, I spent so much money on you bitches.”
“They’re going to try to put me in economy,” he continued. “Motherfucker, I’ve never flown economy before. Fuck all of you. I feel like I’m being ripped off.”
The New Orleans native eventually took a flight with another airline to make it to his show in Fort Worth on time.
