LONDON (Celebrity Access) – Max-WolfgangThe UK-based songwriter and producer known for his work with Olivia Dean, Blackpink, BTS and Ed Sheeran has signed a worldwide publishing deal with Kobalt. Wolfgang recently partnered with Olivia Dean on her latest single “Time”.

Before becoming known as a songwriter and producer, Wolfgang fronted the British alternative rock band Wolf Gang. His impressive resume includes working on several No. 1 albums in the UK and US, as well as collaborating with industry greats such as Max Martin, SiaAnd Laufey.

Kenny McGufff, Head of Creative, UK at Kobalt, was excited about the deal: “We’re thrilled to be working with Max and of course Angus. The quality of the songwriting speaks for itself. He brings so much to the party; we’re incredibly proud to be part of it with him.”

Emma Tivnen, The Senior A&R Manager agreed: “Max is one of the UK’s finest writers and it has long been our dream to have him on our team. We are so pleased he has chosen to join us here at Kobalt and we can’t wait to see what we can achieve together in this next important phase of his career.”

In addition to his work with Dean, Wolfgang co-authored Blackpink’s “Hard To Love” on their chart-topping album Born pink.

Wolfgang expressed his enthusiasm about the new partnership: “I’m thrilled to have signed my publishing deal with Kobalt and the amazing team there. I’m really looking forward to working closely with them on this next chapter!”

Angus Murray of Headlights Management also commented on the deal: “We are excited to be working with the Kobalt team as Max embarks on this next phase of his career. We share a similar vision creatively and strategically and the international structure is a good fit for Max as he has a long history of working in the US and Europe.”
