Dame Dash will give an original Roc-A-Fella necklace to anyone who offers million. “Reasonable Doubt”

Before Dame Dash’s performance, he took to Instagram to promise an original Roc-A-Fella chain to anyone who bids at least $10 million for his one-third share in the legendary label. In the video posted on social media, Dame said that only he owns the real Roc-A-Fella chains and that any official chain had to go through him first. According to him, he was the only one handing them out, mentioning artists like Ye, who got the chain straight off his neck.

Dame sells his one-third share in Roc-A-Fella, which includes the rights to JAY-Z’s debut album Reasonable doubt. His announcement comes after JAY filed a notice saying the rights to the album would revert to the artist in 2031. Dame clarified to potential buyers that a portion of the company was for sale, not the copyright. This means that whoever buys the share of the company will own the rights to the album and can still generate revenue from the album for the next seven years before it reverts back to Hov, as stipulated in his initial contract with the label.

In the video announcement for the chain, Dame asks for serious inquiries only: “If you want to buy a third of Roc-A-Fella Inc., you have to bring some bread. And for anything over 10 million, I’m going to sweeten the deal. You get an original Roc-A-Fella chain from my neck. Because I was the only one handing out Roc-A-Fella chains when Roc-A-Fella still existed. If I don’t give you the chain, it’s not a real Roc-A-Fella chain. If you get one of these, this is the real thing. This is the old-fashioned chain from my neck. You know, like when I took one from my neck and gave one to Kanye, Cam’ron and all the others.” He added: “So again, when you call, please have the intention of spending real money and actually completing the transaction. But if you come with the right money, you’ll get a chain or at least have to fight with your buddy for the right of first refusal.”
