John W. HAMILTON, 64, of Wellsville, NY, died on Sunday, August 18, 2024.
He was born on December 1, 1959 in Buffalo to John F. and Frances Santaniello Hamilton. John was a graduate of Kenmore East Senior High School in Tonawanda. From a young age, he became interested in home improvement, which eventually led to the founding of Hamilton Home Repair & Handyman Service. John was an avid Bills fan. As a joker, he always tried to make everyone he met smile.
When he moved to Belmont in 2004, he enjoyed country life, hunting and always dreamed of becoming a farmer.
Surviving are: four children, Jason Hamilton, Sarah Hamilton, Noah Hamilton and Brady Hamilton; five grandchildren; four nieces; one nephew; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and many cousins. His parents, two sisters, Susan Cumbo and Kathrine Rine, and a brother, Paul Hamilton, had already died.
The family will announce a gathering to honor John’s life. The cremation took place in the private crematorium OLNEY-FOUST.
