John Stamos’ wife posts tribute on his 61st birthday: “You deserve it”

“For the birthday girl who knows how to light up the world,” Caitlin McHugh wrote in a sweet post

Caitlin McHugh, wife of John Stamos, celebrates her beaming husband’s birthday.

On Monday, August 19, the Vampire Diaries The 38-year-old actress helped her husband celebrate his 61st birthday by showing everyone how much light he brings to the world – literally.

“To the birthday boy who knows how to light up the world: May this year bring you everything your heart desires, you deserve it! Happy birthday @johnstamos,” she wrote under an Instagram reel of the Full house Alum – whom she married in 2018 – twirls some sparklers in a backyard.

McHugh added a mashup of Trap Beckham’s 2016 single “Birthday B—-” to the social media clip.

She also added an emoji to the video pointing at Stamos, in keeping with the lyrics: “Point to the birthday boy!”

Melissa Coulier, the wife of Stamos’ Full house Co-star Dave Coulier sent her well wishes in the comments section.

“Have a wonderful day to your love, @caitlinskybound!! Have a wonderful day to you, Poops!! @johnstamos ❤️,” she wrote.

The Without prison The actor also shared his own tribute to his special day by taking a trip down memory lane and posting a sweet throwback video of himself as a child with his late father, William John Stamos.

“I was sitting on my dad’s lap at just three years old, ready to make a wish. I could have sworn I heard my dad’s voice whispering in my ear, ‘You’re going to have a wonderful life, boy.’ It’s a moment captured on film that has stayed with me ever since,” he began his long but heartfelt caption on Instagram.

“Every day feels like a celebration when you are surrounded by the kind of love that I am blessed with,” Stamos said.

He concluded his post by saying he was grateful for “every moment, every hug, every laugh.”

“Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the love you show me, not just today, but every day. You all mean the world to me. XOJS,” the actor concluded.

Meanwhile, Stamos revealed in his Instagram stories that one of his favorite TV shows that he, McHugh and their 6-year-old son William “Billy” Christopher Stamos have been enjoying lately is the cooking show Is it cake?

The premise of the Netflix series is that chefs bake hyper-realistic cakes and desserts that make viewers question whether they are real or Is it cake?

To further celebrate his birthday, Stamos asked his followers to decide between two drum sets, which was real and which was cake.

“Our new tradition is that the day before my birthday we actually make our own Is it cake?” he said, wearing a Pikachu apron and covered all over in what looked like cake batter.

He then placed the drums next to each other and asked in a poll which one was a cake.

Although it seemed like an obvious choice, Stamos joked that people at home voted wrong when they chose No. 1 – a real drum kit.

“That’s wrong! That’s not a cake!” he said, laughing, as McHugh tried to cut the instrument with a knife behind the camera. “I can’t believe you guys.”

“This is the cake. Can’t you see it?” he said before blowing out his candles.
