A Pokemon fan recently redesigned Rotom as a coffee machine. The Pokemon The community loves drawing fan art and reinterpreting their favorite creatures, and Rotom is the perfect choice as it has several official forms and serves as a good framework for developing great ideas.

Rotom was introduced in the fourth generation Pokemon Games. Although Rotom doesn’t evolve into any other known Pokémon, it can change its form, learn new moves, and even change its subtype if it possesses a gadget. Some of the official alternate forms for Rotom include the microwave-based Heat Rotom, the refrigerator-inspired Frost Rotom, and the Mow Rotom, a creature modeled after a lawnmower.

Now, a Pokemon fan named Unspoken_Horrors has reimagined Rotom as Rotom Coffee, an electric/poisonous variant of the popular home appliance creature. In this new design, the Pokemon is depicted as a coffee maker with a hat, eyes, and a large mouth that spits a purple liquid. Like the official versions of Rotom, the creature is surrounded by a kind of aura, which in this case looks like two small purple ghosts. According to Unspoken_Horrors, they originally designed this drawing as part of their work for a game design school and asked for feedback from other Pokemon fans before sending it back. The piece was received quite positively, with the post receiving over 1,000 upvotes and several people complimenting how good the fan art looked in the comments.

This was not the first time that a Pokemon Fan designed an alternate form for Rotom. Last year, a fan designed another electric/poison variant for the creature. In this case, it was a Garbage Rotom, a spirit-possessed trash can that started collecting garbage to keep the city clean.

On another occasion Pokemon Fan designed several alternate forms for Rotom. The new designs included Rotom Style, Rotom Goo, and Rotom Alarm, which were based on a hairdryer, a lava lamp, and an alarm clock, respectively.

At the beginning of the year another Pokemon One fan had a novel idea. He made real Rotom-based gadgets, bought the items, and then used Tinkercad to create 3D models of them and put all the pieces together to create these incredible Rotom-inspired gadgets. Hopefully the Pokemon community will continue to create amazing new designs and items inspired by Rotom, because the creature may not be as popular as Eevee or Pikachu, but it does have a pretty unique design.
