Robert De Niro celebrated his 81st birthday in style this weekend.
The two-time Oscar winner apparently spent the big day with his eldest daughter Drena, who revealed that the famous octogenarian is apparently slowly becoming a daredevil.
Alongside a video of the Joker star jumping from a boat into the sea, she wished her “number one, Ride or Die” a happy birthday, adding: “I love you with all my heart.”
Drena’s post also included snapshots of her father with various other family members, as well as her late son Leandro, who died last year at the age of 19.
De Niro is the father of seven children, the youngest of whom – a little girl named Gia – was born in April 2023 with his girlfriend Tiffany Chen.
He has two adult children with his first wife Diahnne Abbott, 52-year-old Drena and 47-year-old Raphael.
The actor from “The Killers Of The Flower Moon” also has 28-year-old twins Aaron and Julian with his ex-girlfriend Toukie Smith. He has two other children with his ex-wife Grace Hightower, 27-year-old Elliot and 13-year-old Helen.
“I’m an 80-year-old dad, and it’s great,” he told AARP in January. “Everything that’s bothering me or worrying about or this or that just goes away when I look at her.”
“That in itself is wonderful,” an emotional De Niro continued. “She has a very sweet way of looking at you and taking you in,” he said, noting that his teenage daughter Helen shares that trait with Gia.
“I don’t know what’s going to happen to her later when she gets older, but she thinks and observes everything and watches,” De Niro explained. “It’s really interesting. I want to be around as long as possible to enjoy it (and) enjoy her.”
