Happy belated birthday to the one and only Robert De Niro. The Oscar-winning actor turned 81 on Saturday. Oh, and did you mention that the Hollywood icon had a blast at his birthday bash? His daughter Drena took to Instagram to share tons of pictures and videos from the epic celebration. In the opening image, Robert De Niro can be seen jumping off the edge of a yacht into the water. In the next image, a video, Drena can be heard saying, “He’s so crazy. Oh my God.” She then asks her dad, “Are you OK?” The birthday boy replied, “I’m fine.” Drena also posted some old pictures from her family album to commemorate the day. They also include Drena’s late son, Leandro Niro-Rodriguez. Her side note read, “Happy 81st birthday dad and #1 do what you want… I love you with all my (heart emojis). BobbyD forever.”
Robert De Niro married actress Diahnne Abbott in 1976. The former couple had their son Raphael that same year. Robert adopted Drena in 1967, before his marriage to Diahnne. The actor has twin sons Julian and Aaron with his former partner and model-actress Toukie Smith. With his second wife Grace Hightower, Robert De Niro has a son, Elliot, and a daughter, Helen Grace. They separated in 2018.
Robert De Niro celebrated the birth of his 16-month-old daughter Gia with his girlfriend Tiffany Chen in April.
