Actress Sonam Kapoor hosted another lavish and sweet party for her son Vayu’s second birthday. Her cousins were all in attendance.
Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja hosted a sweet and lavish party for their son Vayu’s second birthday on Monday. The celebrations coincided with Raksha Bandhan and the Kapoor cousins also brought out the aarti thaalis and rakhi at the birthday venue itself. Kapoor and sons and daughters
Aunt Shanaya Kapoor shared pictures from the celebrations on Instagram Stories. One picture showed her and her cousin Khushi Kapoor tying rakhis on the wrist of actor Arjun Kapoor. Arjun is Boney Kapoor’s son from his first wife Mona Shourie. Khushi is Boney’s daughter from his second wife Sridevi. Shanaya is the daughter of Boney’s youngest brother Sanjay Kapoor. Sonam is the daughter of Boney’s other brother Anil Kapoor.
Khushi looked adorable in a light blue shirt and pants combination. Shanaya chose a pristine white poplin dress for the party. She tied her hair in a bun. More pictures show her tying rakhis on her brother Jahaan Kapoor’s wrist at home. She also tied rakhis on her cousins Mohit Marwah and Akshay Marwah’s wrist.
Vayu turns 2
In a picture, Sonam was also seen helping Vayu walk. She was wearing a white and blue floral dress and Vayu was wearing a blue shirt.
The venue’s charming decorations included white, black and blue balloons, black and white striped wallpaper and blue and white flags with the words “Vayu 2”. Each table had blue and white flowers and a tablecloth with a similar motif.
Last year, Sonam and Anand celebrated Vayu’s birthday at their home in Delhi. Sonam posted a ton of photos from the celebration on Instagram. “Our Vayu turned 1 yesterday. Had a beautiful puja and lunch with the family. Thank you to the universe for blessing us. #everydayphenomenal #vayusparents Special thanks to @ranipinklove for the beautiful themed puja and lunch… love you. And also thanks to @kavitasinghinteriors for the beautiful mandir she gifted us,” she captioned the photos.
