The King is reportedly planning to fire the Duke of York’s entire security team and rumors are circulating that this could mean the end of Prince Andrew’s stay in the royal box.

Andrew’s private security service was privately funded by Charles after he lost his publicly funded police protection in 2022. According to The Sun on Sunday, members of the security service were told their services would no longer be required from November.

A palace insider told the newspaper: “Everyone is speculating that this means the Duke will have to leave the royal box, because what other reason could there be to deprive him of his security?

Sources added: “It is no secret that the king wants to get rid of him.”

Earlier this year it was reported that Andrew had turned down an offer to move from Royal Lodge to nearby Frogmore Cottage. The Duke is said to have signed a 75-year lease on the mansion in 2003.

In January, reports suggested that Andrew would have to cover the Royal Lodge’s multi-million pound security costs himself if he wanted to stay in the 30-bedroom mansion in Windsor Great Park.

Prince Harry has privately criticized Elon Musk for the rapid spread of misinformation on social media in the wake of far-right unrest across the UK.

A source who has known Harry since his youth said The times: “Maybe he’s become a different person, but do I think he really fits the Californian lifestyle? Another friend, who still gets “the odd WhatsApp” from the Duke, said: “He’s an angry boy. Things haven’t turned out the way he wanted. I think he misses being here (in the UK) terribly and wants to be admired more. Everyone who knows him feels that he would rather be top of the pops’ list here and loved by everyone, like William and Kate are.”

Members of the royal family fear that private conversations with Prince Harry could appear in a second autobiography, a family friend said.

A friend of the king told The Times: “The problem for the king and other family members is the concern that if they talk to Harry, it will be in Spare part Book two. How do you regain trust? I don’t think Harry will ever be able to do that.

“But after the conversations I’ve had with the King, I would never say that their relationship is irreparable. The King’s ability to forgive his son is unbroken. There are other members of the royal family who are much more opposed to Harry, that’s the problem.”

Friends of Prince William have reportedly said he does not want Prince Harry to attend his future coronation.

The 64-year-old Duke of York probably spent his summer vacation in Balmoral with his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, his daughters Princess Eugenie and Beatrice and the rest of the royal family.

“Andrew has barely left the Royal Lodge since Christmas so he is really looking forward to coming to Balmoral with the rest of the family,” a source said. The Express.
