US model suffers numerous injuries after swallowing “broken plastic” from a drink and sues American Airlines

The 51-year-old filed the lawsuit on Monday in Supreme Court in Manhattan.

Model and actress Shana Wall has sued American Airlines because she allegedly suffered injuries from a drink that allegedly contained “broken plastic and shards.” According to New York PostThe drink was served to Ms. Wall on May 1 on a flight to Rome. Her throat, esophagus, vocal cords and digestive system were injured when she swallowed the drink, the report said, citing her lawsuit. She was bedridden and unable to walk after the incident.

The 51-year-old filed the lawsuit on Monday in Supreme Court in Manhattan.

“American Airlines had a duty to provide food and beverages that were uncontaminated and fit for consumption… this resulted in the dangerous, defective and unsafe conditions on the aircraft,” Ms. Wall said in her Aug. 12 lawsuit.

She is demanding damages, but the amount has not been disclosed. American Airlines has not yet commented on her lawsuit.

Shana Wall is originally from California but now lives in the Meatpacking District in Manhattan, where she works as a sommelier and writes for the men’s magazine ‘Best Life’.

She was with television presenter and producer Seacrest from 2003 to 2005, according to postand even joined ‘A terribly nice family‘ And ‘entourage‘.

In her lawsuit, Ms. Wall stated that as a result of her injuries, she “has been unable to perform her employment duties and has suffered loss of wages and property; has incurred expenses for the treatment of her injuries; and will continue to incur future expenses for medical services and other medical care and treatment.”

In June, a passenger on an Air India flight from Bengaluru to San Francisco reported finding a blade-like piece of metal in his in-flight meal.

Another similar incident was reported from South Korea, where a traveler allegedly found a piece of glass in her mouth while drinking coffee.
