Paris Hilton shared photos of the devastating aftermath of a fire that burned down a trailer. Thankfully, she is “safe.”
While filming the visuals for her new song “Bad Bitch Academy” on Friday, she revealed that her trailer burned down on set and shared the aftermath on her Instagram story.
“Bad Bitch Academy” will be featured on Paris’ upcoming second studio album Infinite symbol. Although Paris has recently made a name for herself as a DJ, this album marks her return to pop music since her 2006 album Paris.
On August 16, Paris showed the damage to her burned trailer. “Unfortunately, a fire accidentally broke out in my trailer today on the set of my music video,” she wrote. “As heartbreaking as it is, I am so thankful that everyone is safe and I am incredibly grateful for the incredible support I have around me.”
In the following story, she shared a picture of her burned belongings. “This is not how I imagined shooting my music video for ‘Bad Bitch Academy’ would turn out.”
“The show must go on…” Paris wrote in a third Instagram story, adding a photo of herself and Heidi Klum performing at a nightclub to the music video.
In a video posted on her Instagram profile, Paris took a closer look at the trailer fire and showed all the damage and destroyed personal items.
“Many of you asked about the fire yesterday, so I came back to where it all happened because I didn’t come here yesterday,” she said.
Paris pointed out that her hair extensions did not survive the fire.
“This is insane. It stinks so much. Holy…” Paris said, walking to the end of the trailer. “It smells like I’m in the movie Candyman or something like that.”
Her Barbie blanket was destroyed.
The entire roof has collapsed…
…and exploded in certain areas.
After surveying all the damage, Paris said, “I didn’t know it was that bad. I knew it was burning, and that’s terrifying, but this?”
In the caption on Instagram, Paris wrote: “Assessing the damage after yesterday’s fire 😭 It’s heartbreaking to see so many of my favorite things destroyed 💔 All the beautiful custom outfits we had made for the music video, designer couture outfits, all my favorite sunglasses, shoes, handbags, jewelry, computers, cameras, phones and so much more 😣🥺 But thankfully everyone is safe and doing well and that’s all that matters 💖 Here’s hoping the second day of filming ‘Bad Bitch Academy’ is a little less turbulent 😂 This #InfiniteIcon era is definitely here 🔥😉”
Several celebrities, including her mother and aunt, initially expressed their shock and support:
Her mother, Kathy Hilton, wrote: “OMG!!!!!! Thank God everyone is safe. I am so sorry.”
Her aunt, Kyle Richards, wrote: “So glad you are safe.”
Heidi Klum, who appears in the music video, wrote: “So creepy.”
DJ Benny Benassi wrote: “Oh my god.”
