Lee Min Ho has professed his love for BIGBANG’s G-Dragon on the rapper’s birthday and also celebrated the occasion with him after the promotions for the second season of Pachinko began in the US. The duo have been spotted together several times and have also spent the New Year together with other celebrities such as Lee Jung Jae and Jung Woo Sung.
On August 18, Lee Min Ho wished G-Dragon a happy birthday on Instagram. The actor also attached photos from his birthday celebrations with the BIGBANG member. The caption read, “hbd (a kiss emoji).” The actor had been in the United States promoting his upcoming project Pachinko 2 and attended G-Dragon’s birthday celebrations after returning home.
Lee Min Ho made his debut in 2002 with the drama Romance. He is a popular K-drama actor known for his roles in romance dramas. He rose to fame with the romantic comedy Boys Over Flowers, which is considered a classic. His drama The Heirs is also a cult drama that celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2023.
Lee Min Ho has also starred in super-successful romance dramas such as Personal Taste, The Legend of the Blue Sea, The King: Eternal Monarch, and more. His last appearance in a K-drama was in Pachinko. He will play the lead role in the upcoming webtoon-based film Omiscent Reader’s Viewpoint.
G-Dragon’s upcoming comeback would be his first solo release since 2017, his first solo comeback in 7 years. The artist’s last release was his second mini album Kwon Ji Yong, which was released in June 2017. Prior to his comeback, G-Dragon also acquired all of G-Dragon and GD’s trademarks from his former agency YG Entertainment. YG’s executive producer Yang Hyun Suk reportedly transferred all of the trademarks for free.
Many new speculations have surfaced about his upcoming comeback, but his agency, Galaxy Corporation, stresses that nothing has been confirmed other than a comeback by G-Dragon later this year.
