Happy birthday, Ben Affleck!
The Argo The star turned 52 on Thursday and reportedly spent his birthday this year where I would like to be now: at home.
According to People, Ben had a “small birthday party” with his children Violet (18), Fin (15) and Samuel (12).
“It’s exactly what he wanted,” a source said. “He didn’t want to go out to celebrate. The kids had presents for him and it was sweet.”
Fin, Violet and Samuel are from his marriage to Jennifer Garner. Although the couple split in 2018, they still seem to be on good terms. Jennifer even visited Ben on his birthday, as can be seen in photos obtained by Page Six.
And that wasn’t his only visitor. According to People’s source, “Jennifer (Lopez) also stopped by to congratulate him” on his big day.

“The kids were with Ben most of the day. He didn’t leave the house at all on his birthday,” the insider continued.
BuzzFeed reached out to representatives for Ben and Jennifer for comment on the report but did not immediately receive a response.

The celebration takes place almost a month after Jennifer’s 55th birthday, for which she hosted a Bridgertonthemed party in the Hamptons. Ben notably did not attend the event, which came amid ongoing breakup rumors. Instead, he was seen running errands in LA.
Like Ben, Jennifer did not publicly announce his birthday. Instead, she shared photos from her own celebration on Instagram.
