Top QB Ranking

  • Josh Allen
  • Patrick Mahomes
  • Jalen injured
  • Lamar Jackson

Lamar Jackson projects the fewest fantasy points of the four in my top quarterback rankings, but he also has the fewest concerns about his potential ceiling of the four. Signing Derrick Henry could open up more passing and running opportunities for the dual-threat quarterback. Additionally, I expect some growth as Jackson becomes more comfortable passing the ball in Todd Monken’s offense.

Top RB ranking

It should come as no surprise that Christian McCaffrey is in a class of his own this season. The guy had over 100 more fantasy points than the RB2 last year. Beyond that, no further explanation is needed.

Top WR Ranking

CeeDee LambLamb’s holdout has gotten pretty ugly in recent weeks, with Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones stating he has no sense of rushing to get a deal done for his star wide receiver. He can sign a record-breaking contract at any time, but with each day that passes, we’re getting closer to the point where the Cowboys start the season without one of the NFL’s best offensive weapons. I’m still betting we’ll see him in protective gear in Week 1, and if that’s the case, then he’ll actually rank better than Tyreek Hill in my 2024 fantasy football rankings. The reality is, unless Lamb’s holdout drags into the season, you can’t go wrong drafting either of these two wide receivers.

Top TE ranking

Look, at the moment I have Travis Kelce And Sam LaPorta each of them is projected to produce 211.4 fantasy points this season, so I wouldn’t waste time splitting hairs to figure out whether Kelce or LaPorta should be the first TE taken off the board. There are a few key differences between the two: FirstKelce will be 35 years old at the end of the season – let’s just say he is not exactly Feeling 22as he showed signs of slowing down last year. Now just 23 years old, Laporta should continue to improve after a stellar rookie season in which he set rookie TE records for regular season receptions (86) and postseason receiving yards (176). On the other handKelce has Patrick Mahomes throwing him the ball. Mahomes might turn to him even more often given the unclear status of Marquise Brown (injury) and Rashee Rice (looming suspension). Ideally, someone takes one of them off the board before you and you can just take the other one a few picks later without too much thought.
