Jana Duggar snubs her rebellious sister at the big wedding reception as fans suspect a fight over a tell-all book

“COUNTING On” star Jana Duggar has apparently excluded one of her sisters from her wedding reception after an alleged argument broke out between the two.

The eldest daughter of the Duggar clan married Stephen Wissmann in a ceremony in Arkansas on Thursday.

Jana, 34, tied the knot with Stephen in a simple wedding with 500 guests, which she described as a “dream come true.”

Her sister Jessa Duggar Seewald was her maid of honor and was at her side on this special day.

Her bridesmaids included her sister-in-law Abbie Duggar and her sisters Joy-Anna Forsyth, Jinger Duggar Vuolo, Johannah Duggar and Jordyn Duggar.

Specifically rejected?

Fans of the family, made famous by TLC’s “19 Kids & Counting,” quickly noticed that one of their sisters, Jill Duggar, was absent from the wedding photos.

Speculation has arisen that the sisters may be at loggerheads since 33-year-old Jill published her tell-all memoir, Counting The Cost, last year.

Many felt sorry for Jill, remembering that Jana was her maid of honor when she married 35-year-old Derick Dillard in 2014.

“I’m sorry Jill was left out, especially because Jana was Jill’s maid of honor and the two were pretty close growing up,” someone wrote on Reddit.

“As I said, either Jana was not allowed to invite Jill in exchange for the wedding of her dreams, or Jill was invited but not allowed to be part of the bridal party.”

“It’s still sad that Jill wasn’t in the wedding party. I hope it wasn’t due to bad blood despite everything that happened,” said a second.

“So sad that Jill wasn’t even a bridesmaid, especially considering Jana was Jill’s maid of honor,” wrote a third.

“Oops, especially when it looks like all the older girls except Jill are bridesmaids,” said another.

Others mentioned Jill’s miscarriage earlier this year and suggested that she may not have been up to the task of being a bridesmaid.

Although she may have missed out on the honor, Jill shared an Instagram Story post on Friday to congratulate her older sister.

How many children and grandchildren do Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar have?

  • Jim Bob and Michelle are parents of 19 children
  • The couple has nine girls and ten boys and all of their children have names that begin with the letter J.
  • Joshua, Jana, John-David, Jill, Jessa, Jinger, Joseph, Josiah, Joy-Anna, Jedidiah, Jeremiah, Jason, James, Justin, Jackson, Johannah, Jennifer, Jordyn-Grace and Josie all grew up in the family home in Tontitown, Arkansas.

“My sister is married!!”, Jill wrote next to an article, wishing Jana and her new husband all the best.

Other sisters who appeared to be excluded from Jana’s playday group were Jennifer, Jordyn and Josie.

It was noticeable that Jana’s brother Josh Duggar – currently in prison – and her famous cousin Amy Duggar (37) were absent from the wedding.

Jana chose a strapless white dress for her special date, ignoring the strict modesty rules of her father Jim Bob Duggar, who walked her down the aisle.

ALL FOR ONE PRICE?

Jill has spoken openly about her Beliefs that differ from those of her parents, Jim Bob, 59, and Michelle, 57.

The former “Counting On” actress spoke openly about her childhood in her memoir, revealing the “secrets and manipulation” that fans didn’t get to see on the family’s reality TV series.

She also mentioned the “warning signs” that led her and her husband to leave the Institute in Basic Life Principles (IBLP) church in 2017.

Jill is known as the “rebel of the family” because she defied her parents’ conservative rules for years.

While promoting the release of her book in September, Jill hinted that she had a difficult relationship with Jana – who still belonged to the family’s cult-like religion.

“Are you worried about Jana and her inability to break free from your father’s grip or hold on to Bill Gothard’s teachings?” Jill was asked during a Q&A with fans.

“I try not to interfere too much in my siblings’ lives,” Jill replied.

“I don’t know where they all are. I don’t want to talk about their stories and everything. I let them tell their story or find out for themselves.

“But I think for anyone who grew up with IBLP, it’s definitely a process and one that’s hard to move on from and hard to process,” she added.
