Today, Young Thug celebrates his 33rd birthday, but he has to do so behind bars. The rapper is currently in the middle of a high-profile RICO trial that began in November last year. It is now the longest trial in the history of the state of Georgia and it is still unclear when it might finally end. Regardless, countless relatives, colleagues and fans are posting tributes in honor of Young Thug’s birthday, including his children.
They recently released a promo video for his brand Sp5der, featuring his song “Daddy’s Birthday.” In the video, they rock the brand’s hoodies, beanies, and more. Of course, fans are showing their love to both the YSL founder and his children as they wait for the conclusion of his lengthy legal battle.

However, Young Thug’s children aren’t the only ones celebrating his birthday while he’s behind bars. Today, Gunna also took to his Instagram story to share some old photos of him and Young Thug. His posts didn’t come with a message, though it’s clear he was flaunting their friendship in honor of the occasion. As for Young Thug’s trial, it doesn’t look like it’s coming to an end anytime soon. Lil Woody, the star witness who frequently goes viral for his courtroom antics, attacked the state in an explosive rant earlier this month.
He accused them of taking advantage of him, pressuring him, and more. “I don’t remember anything that happened years ago,” Lil Woody said in court. “All I know is that every time the police came after me and tried to catch me, his name came up.
