A recent post on the Kmart Mums Australia Facebook group shared a simple yet effective way to make your child’s next birthday party or slumber party special.
And the best part: It certainly won’t break your budget.
The mom said, “Thank you, Kmart! This treat stand was the perfect addition to my daughter’s movie night/sleepover birthday party.”
“The girls had a lot of fun choosing snacks from the stand before watching a movie.
“It definitely created a wow factor and I plan on using it again… and again.”
The Kmart Pick and Mix Treat Stand
The Kmart Pick And Mix Treat Stand ($10) has three levels and nine compartments for snacks like lollipops or chocolate.
In the attached photos, the mother presented the delicious arrangement, with the pick-and-mix stand taking center stage.
The stands’ floors were filled with mini chocolate bars, lollipop bags, marshmallows and pretzels, offering party guests plenty of choice.
The shelves below held a selection of chips such as Twisties, Burger Rings, Pretzels and Smith’s Chips, all neatly lined up.
Next to the stand there was a selection of mini bottles of soft drinks such as Coke and Sprite as well as boxes of popcorn, perfect for movie night.
The mom also cleverly repurposed the $3 Kmart Art Caddys so the kids can pick out their treats and keep everything organized and clean.
