You still have one week to submit photos of your pets for the annual Pet Photo Contest hosted by the Adirondack Daily Enterprise and Lake Placid News and sponsored by Saranac Lake-based Hyde Fuel and Man and Beast in Lake Placid.

Visit the ADE or LPN websites and click the button to submit your favorite photo of your pet.

The landing page for the pet photo contest can be found here: tinyurl.com/2wj9hu29. The deadline for entries is Friday, August 23rd at 5pm, and voting begins the following day at 9am.

Have more than one pet? No problem. You can submit a photo of more than one pet. The photo with the most votes will receive a $50 gift card to Hyde Fuel and Man and Beast.

Once photos are submitted online, they are automatically uploaded to a gallery for everyone to see. More than 50 photos have been submitted so far and we expect a high level of participation in this popular competition. Here are the captions of some of the photos submitted:

“Cassie is a 13-year-old Border Collie Corgi mix who was adopted from the Elmore SPCA 10 years ago. She is bossy, sassy, and loves everyone.”

“Perrita plays turtle”

“Our foster dog Thor and his best koala friend Jeff!”

“Merle is the best big brother”

“Kawaii, 8 weeks old. Loves exploring new surroundings!”

“Cuddle time”

“Doodle’s sisters with their rescued brothers!”

“Scarlett and Gemma enjoying the sun.”

Visit the contest website to view these and more photos… and to submit a photo of your pet.
