Provence writes that Hassad wishes: “Happy Birthday, Cousin” to the Congolese international was the last straw in a series of complaints from the club, with the wording “cousin” probably a reference to the incident the suspension of Mbemba.
In a letter from the club to the reserve player confirming his suspension, the birthday message was allegedly one of the reasons for the ban. Hassad was also accused of insulting a teammate and delaying or refusing to carry out instructions from a club official.
