Pantaloon launches Publishing Hub; a network of commercial resources for game developers

Pantaloon today launched the Pantaloon Publishing Hub – a platform that equips game developers with everything they need to self-publish, including a resource library of seven industry-adopted assets that form the basis of a commercial plan.

Pantaloon, a new platform that promotes bold and bizarre games through a fast-growing newsletter, has expanded its offerings into the developer space to provide value to an ever-growing group of developers who may want to publish their games independently.

After a difficult year for the industry, I am confident that more studios will embrace self-publishing.“, said Jamin Smith, founder of Pantaloon, about the mission: “But even for those with the team/finance, the commercial side of game development is a complex undertaking. With the Publishing Hub, we want to expose as much of the publishing machinery as possible and connect developers with tools and services that can help them. We also want to offer studios looking for a publisher – for funding or otherwise – the knowledge and trust needed to be an active partner on the commercial side.

The Publishing Hub currently offers a 33-slide brand plan, studio branding guidelines, press release template and outreach guide, campaign roadmap and beat sheet, pitch deck template, newsletter growth guide, and playtest framework from partners at Go Testify. Additionally, the PressEngine team hosts a monthly drop-in office hour for Q&A and media and influencer advice. All for free.

To make the Publishing Hub accessible to developers, Pantaloon has also partnered with Sogage, with an exclusive trial and discount for the powerful all-in-one community platform and social monitoring tool. Finally, the Hub also leverages Into Games’ network and resources, with the two companies partnering on a Bold and Bizarre Bundle, which is currently accepting submissions through the Hub.
