Al Roker’s wife, Deborah Roberts, hosted a surprise 70th birthday party at City Winery in New York City on Tuesday night.
The Today Show weatherman posted photos from the party, which included a performance by Earth, Wind & Fire and several celebrity guests.
“Still processing the early #surprise party @debrobertsabc threw for me for my 70th birthday with family and friends,” Roker wrote Wednesday under a carousel of 20 photos on Instagram.
He added: “I feel much more comfortable being the one giving the party than being the one receiving it. It was overwhelming and I’m still processing it.”
Roker shared several sweet snaps of himself and Roberts posing with all three of his children.
Roker has a daughter, Courtney, with his ex-wife Alice Bell and two children, son Nick and daughter Leila, with Roberts, who flew in from Paris for the birthday party.
His fellow “Today” show co-hosts Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb and Craig Melvin were all in attendance for the special evening, as were “CBS Mornings” co-host Gayle King and “Good Morning America” co-host Robin Roberts.
Deborah, 63, added several personal touches to her husband’s party – including dozens of prop versions of his viral blue glasses, balloons, custom Krispy Kreme doughnuts and old photos of Roker lined up on the walls.
At one point, Guthrie was photographed hugging Roker while smiling and wearing blue glasses.
Roberts continued to surprise by bringing Earth, Wind & Fire on stage.
Leila posted a sweet black-and-white video of her parents holding each other tightly, kissing and dancing to one of the band’s hits.
Roker looked chic in a light purple button-down shirt with a grey checked blazer over it, while Deborah sparkled in a sleeveless white sparkly turtleneck dress.
“The countdown to @alroker’s birthday can begin. We love and appreciate you so much we just had to start celebrating early!! Let’s keep dancing into next week and your new decade,” Deborah wrote under her Instagram post on Tuesday.
Roker turns 70 on August 20.
His birthday party came just one day after Kotb celebrated her 60th birthday with a celebration on Monday’s episode of “Today With Hoda and Jenna.”
