At the beginning of the year, nine newly designed meditation blends were released by John LennonThe classic game “Mind Games” was featured in the Lumenate app and now even people who don’t use the app can finally experience it.
Mind Games – The meditation mixesproduced by Lennon’s son Sean Ono Lennonwill be available digitally and as a limited edition three-LP set on crystal clear vinyl on October 11, just two days after John’s 84th birthday (and Sean’s 49th). In addition to the nine meditation mixes, the vinyl includes nine 1.8-second mantras played in continuous loops.
“You could say meditation is the ultimate mind game. These very abstract interpretations will hopefully help you explore your ‘innerverse’,” Sean shares. “This part of the Mind games The project evolved spontaneously and feels like it was sprinkled with just the right amount of good vibes and fairy dust. (Effects may vary.)”
The meditation blends follows the release of Mind Games – Ultimate Collectionwhich featured six different listening experiences as well as unreleased outtakes, stripped down mixes, instrumentals, demos, rehearsals and even what is described as “studio chatter”.
