Avelo Airlines continues its growth in Palm Beach with the resumption of nonstop service between Palm Beach International Airport and Wilmington Airport in the Philadelphia/Delaware Valley region.

Starting November 8, Avelo will operate service to Wilmington twice a week, Fridays and Mondays. Single tickets from PBI start at $67.

“We are excited to continue our growth in the Palm Beaches and resume our nonstop service to Philadelphia. In addition to returning to Philadelphia and our successful New Haven service, we are excited to introduce Avelo’s low fares, travel-friendly convenience and industry-leading reliability to travelers in the Palm Beaches,” said Andrew Levy, founder and CEO of Avelo Airlines. “This nonstop service will also allow travelers from the Delaware Valley to enjoy the scenic beaches, shopping and charming character of West Palm quickly and easily.”

Philadelphia/Delaware Valley will rejoin Avelo’s current nonstop service between PBI and Tweed-New Haven Airport in southern Connecticut.

“We are thrilled to welcome our passengers back on the Wilmington-Palm Beach route. Avelo Airlines is committed to providing exceptional and affordable travel experiences, and this resumption underscores our commitment to connecting key destinations with the convenience and comfort our travelers expect,” said Laura Beebe, Director of Airports at PBI. “We look forward to making every trip enjoyable and seamless for our customers.”

Avelo flies previously unserved routes to primarily underserved communities across the country. Each route has at least one small, easily serviced airport. Avelo’s six bases are Hollywood Burbank Airport in Los Angeles, Tweed-New Haven Airport in southern Connecticut, Wilmington Airport in Philadelphia and the Delaware Valley region, Raleigh-Durham International Airport and Sonoma County Airport in the Bay Area. In October, Avelo will open its Central Florida base at Lakeland International Airport.

Since its launch in 2021, Avelo has carried over 5.2 million customers on over 40,000 flights. Today, Avelo serves 54 destinations in 24 states, including Puerto Rico, Jamaica and Mexico.
