A video captures the moment a woman jumped over a check-in counter and threw a computer monitor at Frontier Airlines employees.
A passenger recently lost her temper with Frontier Airlines staff in Chicago and threw a computer monitor home after a heated exchange that was captured entirely on video.
The 31-year-old woman’s tantrum occurred at the Frontier ticket counter at O’Hare International Airport on July 30. Video shows the woman walking behind the ticket counter, arguing and grabbing at Frontier employees before throwing the computer around.
TikTok user Cindy Halasova, who captured the fight on video, said the woman was upset because she was late and missed her flight out of Chicago. The video, originally posted on TikTok, was removed because it contained “violent and graphic content.”
The video has since made the rounds on social media, appearing on X on August 4. The reposted video has received 50,000 views and hundreds of comments from people expressing shock and disappointment
“Well! That puts her and her family on the no-fly list. What is wrong with these people?” wrote one user.
Frontier Airlines declined to comment on the incident and referred any further investigation to Chicago police.
Regard: Woman throws computer monitors in a fit of rage
The angry woman is seen walking toward Frontier employees and jumping over a luggage scale and behind the counter. She is seen screaming and gesticulating, trying to get closer to the Frontier employees who are walking into the back room.
A man in a green shirt pushes the woman away and tries to create distance between her and the other Frontier employees before the situation escalates.
In a fit of rage, the woman threw several items on the floor, including two computer monitors and a cell phone. During the conversation, she continued to yell at Frontier employees and hurled profanities at them.
The woman eventually jumps back to the other side of the baggage carousel, but continues to blame the employees.
Brawl at Frontier Airlines ‘under investigation,’ Chicago police say
Chicago police confirmed to USA TODAY on Wednesday that an altercation occurred between three women at a Chicago airport around 7:45 a.m. on July 30.
A 24-year-old and a 40-year-old woman were injured in the fight with an unidentified 31-year-old woman. The 40-year-old was hit by a flying cell phone, while the 24-year-old was hit in the leg by the woman.
According to police, the 31-year-old woman fled the area. There are currently “no perpetrators” in custody, but the incident is still being investigated, police said.
