Google fans are sure to be excited this week because there are three new Pixel devices: the Pixel 9 smartphone series, the Pixel Watch 3 and the Pixel Buds Pro 2, all of which are already available for pre-order.
The new line of Google Pixel 9 phones gives you four options to choose from: Google Pixel 9, Google Pixel 9 Pro, Google Pixel 9 Pro XL, and Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold. Amazon, Google, and Best Buy all offer the same gift card deals ranging from $100 to $350, but Best Buy also offers trade-in values of up to $460. if you have an old phone you want to get rid of. Here is the breakdown of each phone.
The Pixel 9 starts at $799
First up is the Pixel 9, which starts at $799 with 128GB of storage. You get a $100 gift card from Amazon, Best Buy, or Google if you pre-order there. The Pixel 9 uses the new Google Tensor G4 chip as a processor and has a 6.3-inch OLED screen with 1080p resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The RAM is 12GB and it has two cameras on the back, a 50MP wide-angle camera and a 48MP ultra-wide-angle camera.
The Pixel 9 Pro starts at $999
Next up is the Pixel 9 Pro, with the same Tensor G4 chip, the same 6.3-inch OLED screen, and 120Hz refresh rate, but with 1280p resolution. The RAM is better at 16GB, and you get an extra camera on the back, giving you three in total: 50MP wide, 48MP ultra-wide, and a 48MP telephoto. Amazon, Best Buy, and Google offer a $200 gift card with every pre-order.
The Pixel 9 Pro XL starts at $1,099
The Pixel 9 Pro XL is almost identical to the Pixel 9 Pro, except you get a larger screen and battery size. It has the same Tensor G4 chip with a larger 6.8-inch OLED screen and a higher 1344p resolution at the same 120Hz refresh rate. It also has the same 16GB of RAM and three rear cameras. You can get a $200 gift card from Amazon, Best Buy or Google with your pre-order.
The Pixel 9 Pro Fold starts at $1,799
The Pixel 9 Pro Fold is different from the others because, as the name suggests, it’s foldable. It’s also much more expensive than the others, starting at $1,799. It does have the same processor and storage, though, with the Tensor G4 chip and 16GB of RAM, but that’s where the similarities end. It starts with 256GB of storage and has a 6.3-inch dual OLED 1080p screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and three rear cameras; 50MP wide, 10.5MP ultra-wide, and a 10.8MP telephoto. When you open the phone, it turns into an 8-inch “mini tablet,” according to deputy tech editor Michelle Ehrhardt, who got to test the phones firsthand. You can get a Gift card valued at $350 from Best Buy or Google if you pre-order there.
