Billy Joel gave an insight into his private life with some adorable photos of his doppelgänger daughter Della.
The 75-year-old “Uptown Girl” singer celebrated Della’s ninth birthday this week and gave his followers a rare glimpse of his daughter.
In the pictures, Della can be seen sitting on a replica fire truck, riding a horse and petting baby goats.
Captioning the sweet snaps, Billy wrote: “Happy 9th birthday Della Rose. Watching you grow and shine leaves us all in awe. We love you.”
His followers were blown away by the family resemblance, with one commenting: “Oh my god she looks just like you Billy Joel!!!!”
A second commented: “She’s such a smiling, confident sweet little thing – a mini Billy.” A third added: “Oh my goodness, she’s your double in photo 3!”

After six years together, they married on July 4, 2015, on Long Island. Billy was 66 and Alexis was 33. A few weeks later, on August 12, 2015, they welcomed Della.
InstagramThe nine-year-old has never been afraid of the spotlight and during Billy’s recent show in Cardiff, Wales, she sang a special version of “My Life” with him.
Della is not the only singer in the family, as her six-year-old younger sister Remy can also belt out a song and was on stage with her father and sister on the last night of his performance at Madison Square Garden, as well as again at the 2024 Grammy Awards.
In 2019, Billy spoke to Rolling Stone about having young children later in life and admitted that he is often mistaken for their grandfather.

“I still love being a dad. I didn’t know I’d be a dad again at this age, but I’m glad I am,” he added. “They keep you young.”
Billy’s eldest daughter, 38-year-old Alexa Ray Joel, is a singer-songwriter and has also performed live with her father several times.

Two days after Della’s birth, Alexa Ray celebrated the arrival of her new little sister with a sweet post on Instagram.

The experienced singer was married four times. His first wife was Elizabeth Weber Small, whom he married in 1973 before divorcing her in 1982.
