INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – One more dry day before significant rains arrive in parts of the state.

TODAY: It’s going to be another beautiful day across much of Indiana. Expect mostly sunny skies and a warmer Wednesday. Highs will climb into the 30s, which is fairly normal for this time of year. Humidity will increase later in the afternoon. It won’t be oppressive, but you’ll notice it and feel a little more uncomfortable.

If you go to the Indianapolis Indians game today, you will find pleasant conditions. Temperatures will be below 80 degrees by the time the first pitch of today’s game is played.

TONIGHT: Later in the evening, partly cloudy skies will develop. Lows will fall to around 18°C.

THURSDAY: There’s a good chance of some showers and thunderstorms on Thursday. Humidity will be higher and temperatures will be in the low 80s. Rainfall will be moderate to heavy at times and parts of the state could see at least 1 inch or more. That could lead to flooding in parts of Indiana.

Most of Indiana is at a low risk, level 1 of 5. Western Indiana is at a low risk, level 2 of 5. The main hazards are heavy precipitation and gusty winds.

From Friday onwards, further showers and thunderstorms are possible, humidity will rise and temperatures will be around 30 degrees.

7-DAY FORECAST: Scattered showers are possible on Saturday, with highs of just over 27 degrees. Dry weather will prevail at the end of the weekend and early next week, with highs of just over 27 degrees, and temperatures will rise to just over 27 degrees on Tuesday.
