One thing is for sure: When Deborah Silver performs live, that special kind of energetic excitement that is hard to match on her award-winning recordings, videos and social media platforms is unleashed in the venues where the “Glitter & Grits” singer performs. And that was the case last night at The City Winery in New York City.
Always well prepared, Deborah brings her sultry voice, infectious Southern hospitality, stunning musical arrangements and world-class musicians. She played a thoroughly entertaining evening of songs from her upcoming new album “Basie Rocks!”, in collaboration with the legendary Count Basie Orchestra, to a room full of fans, friends and family.
Her friends from her hometown of South Florida and New York gathered for the special evening and the folks from Legends Radio in attendance will have plenty to say about the show on the radio as founder Dick Robinson, “the old jock,” was in the room. Debbie even brought “Mr. Palm Beach” Rob Russell on stage to give a taste of the joy he brings to the Florida audience.
I’m not great at describing fashion statements (as my wife will attest), so here are a few photos of Deborah on stage at City Winery. Check out the photos below!
