Amidst these events, in a surprising turn of events, the statement of his wife Veena Srivani caught everyone’s attention. She publicly demanded an expensive gift from Naga Chaitanya on social media.
In her recent post on Instagram, Veena Srivani seemed to overlook her husband Venu Swamy’s controversial prediction about Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala.
Instead, she congratulated them on their new beginning and even demanded a gift from Naga Chaitanya. She said, “Congratulations, Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita. I wish you both happiness. I want a gift. Because you got engaged, but some people have diverted that and targeted others. I want a gift. I want one of the latest bags from LV.”
On August 13, 2024, Venu Swamy received a summons from the Telangana State Commission for Women asking him to give an explanation regarding his recent predictions about Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala.
The Commission took this step following an immediate complaint filed by the Telugu Film Journalists’ Association.
For the unaware, things hit a rocky spot after Venu Swamy claimed in a viral video on social media that Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala would separate for another woman by 2027.
While his video garnered attention and was criticized by many, the astrologer apologized for it in a later video, noting that he came to this prediction by detailing the events between Naga Chaitanya and his ex-wife Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
He also vowed never to make predictions about film stars again in future and said, “I have vowed never to predict the future of film stars and politicians again and I will keep my word.” He added, “MAA President Manchu Vishnu spoke to me and I assured him that I will never predict the future of film stars again.”
