“Bamboo flooring or carpeting in paler pistachio tones can make a small space appear larger,” says Pam Hutter, principal designer and owner of Hutter Architects. “Darker, moodier greens like forest green on floors can also work well, especially when balanced with lighter green accents elsewhere.”

“Try combining the colour with gold or dark blue elements to create a sumptuous and harmonious design,” adds Andrea.
