The Texas Bucket List has a new favorite place to eat in El Paso

The Texas Bucket List has been highlighting incredible Texas attractions and restaurants for years. 22 seasons and the show is still going strong; and of course El Paso has been featured on the show before. In fact, we were recently back in season 22; a local restaurant on the east side.

The Texas Bucket List stopped at Carlos & Mickey’s in El Paso

Although the store is officially called Los Bandidos de Carlos & Mickey’s, we know it simply as Carlos & Mickey’s, right behind Bassett Mall.

On the show “Happen der Woche” Shane McAuliffe spoke with the owner, Rosa Saenz. She gave a brief insight into the history of the place and talked about how her father opened the restaurant before she became the owner in the 90s.

Shane was also told how spicy the food is, so he decided to try the carnitas. And of course, he had to try the famous 40 oz. margaritas that Carlos & Mickey’s is known for. You can see everything Shane had to say about the food and what the locals have been saying in the post uploaded to their official YouTube channel.

Of course, as mentioned, this wasn’t the only time the Texas Bucket List visited a popular restaurant here in town or a place we definitely know and love. There were at least over a dozen other places that Shane and the Texas Bucket List visited while in town.

Below you can see when else El Paso was listed on the Texas Bucket List.
