Georgia, Ohio State and Oregon lead the AP Top 25 preseason poll

After another long and turbulent college football offseason, the start of the 2024 season is just around the corner.

Georgia is ranked No. 1, starting the season in pole position for the second straight year. The Bulldogs went 13-1 in 2023 and won the Orange Bowl, but missed out on a potential third consecutive national championship.

Ohio State starts at No. 2 for the third time in the last five seasons and tries to end a three-year streak of crushing losses to rival Michigan. Big Ten newcomer Oregon is ranked No. 3, which is the Ducks’ highest preseason ranking since 2014.
