“Mad Men” star takes on the lead role in John Grisham’s “The Rainmaker” series

John Slatteryknown for his roles as Howard Stark in the MCU and Roger Sterling in mad Menwill play the role of Leo F. Drummond in the upcoming drama series The Rainmaker. Slattery recently played Sterling in the comedy Unfrosted.




The series is an adaptation of John Grisham’s novel and tells the story of young lawyer Rudy Baylor as he faces off against a powerful legal foe. According to The Wrap, Drummond, the character played by Slattery, is described as “one of Grisham’s most iconic figures… a legendary lion of the courtroom and senior partner at Tinley Britt, the powerful firm Rudy Baylor is up against.”
