The Bookseller – News – Romantic Novelists Association announces new chair

The Romantic Novelists’ Association (RNA) has announced Seána Talbot as the new chairman. Talbot, who writes as Catherine Tinley has taken over the role of Jean Fullerton, Katie Ginger is vice-chair. Both Seána and Katie are directors of organization.

The announcement was made in RNA Annual General Meeting, held during the RNA Conference. The threeday The event took place at Royal Holloway, University of London and was attended by more than 250 authors, writer and publishing industryTry professionals.

Fullerton said: “It is It has been a pleasure to have been part of the team that has led the RNA through the last few challenging years. Also attending the AGM were Fullerton, Sue Merritt, who writes as Virginia Heath, and Andrea Davies, who writes as Lily Watson.d down. Three new directors were elected: Katharine Elliott, who writes under the name Katharine Light, Lucy Hip flaskwho writes under the pseudonym Lucy Morris, and Deborah Clover.

During the conferenceLegates were invited, anymized blurbs to industry professionals. A team of more than 30 editors and agents then read excerpts from the Manuscripts they wanted to see more of, resulting in nearly 400 face-to-face meetings where both feedback and mall requests for complete manuscripts.
