United Airlines flight has to land because dog defecates in the aisle of the plane

A United Airlines flight had to be diverted after a dog could no longer stand it and did his business in the aisle of the plane.

The four-legged passenger was with other travelers in the cabin of a flight from Houston to Seattle that had to make an unexpected landing in Dallas after the pet did its business in the aisle. Business Insider reported.

Flight radaran online flight tracker shows that a United Airlines flight from Houston to Seattle was diverted to the Texas city on Friday.

The incident was first discussed among users on Reddit, but United Airlines confirmed Business Insider that the incident took place.

One user said the dog had a “bad accident” in the first-class section of the plane, after which the plane was diverted to Dallas Fort Worth International Airport.

The ground staff spent over two hours cleaning the feces from the floor, the user claimed.

The user also claimed that the first class toilet was deemed unusable after the incident and that the food on board had spoiled due to time on the ground, leaving them with only a few snacks.

However, some passengers may not have had much of an appetite, as the user also said that the smell “never completely went away.”

There are a number of rules and regulations that people who wish to travel with their pet cat or dog on a United flight must follow.

United’s website states that pets must remain in their carrier with the door closed under your seat at all times on the plane, unless they are service animals.

There are additional fees for bringing furry friends on a flight and not all destinations allow you to bring your pet.

Just last month, a Chihuahua made a huge mess on another United Airlines flight after defecating on the seats and floor.

The dog, who was on board a plane to Portland on February 5, spent most of the flight in her carrier, but her owner reportedly let her out when she appeared to be getting cranky.

In this case, the pollution could be removed by the flight crew and an emergency landing was not necessary.

Some of the passengers who were in close proximity to the pooping dog received travel vouchers after the incident.

The Independent has asked United Airlines for comment.
