When you’re a girl, daddy, it shows. Even the manliest man will sit down at a tea party or at his daughter’s hairdresser when he hears “Please, daddy.” She bats her eyes and he turns to putty in her hands. It’s a story as old as time. Country superstar Tim McGraw is no exception.
Tim and his wife Faith Hill married in 1996 and have two daughters: Gracie (27), Maggie (26) and Audrey (22). When the girls were little, Tim had no qualms about playing games and doing girly things with them. And Tim’s friends apparently didn’t either.
Kenny Chesney’s pedi remained
Tim and Kenny got Gracie to paint their toenails pink and went their separate ways. The following week, the two met up again in Los Angeles to attend the Academy of Country Music Awards. They were hanging out by the pool and a barefoot Kenny made a shocking discovery.
“So, I’m sitting there and Kenny looks down and says, ‘Oh God, I forgot to take off the nail polish that Gracie put on my toes.’ We still laugh to this day about Kenny having all those pink toenails at the Academy of Country Music Awards,” Tim said.
As an experienced father of women, Tim didn’t forget to take his off, but Kenny still looked pretty in pink.
Of course, fans liked it. One wrote: “Fathers are so important to daughters.”
“Oh, you guys are great dads!” someone else raved.
