WWE’s Bayley spoke openly about her role as locker room manager and revealed the mentors she had during her time with the company.
Bayley signed with WWE in December 2012 and appeared on NXT, WWE Raw and SmackDown, where he became Grand Slam Champion.
She has also embraced the role of locker room leader, something she recently discussed in an interview with Joey Karni in The Angle magazine.
She talked about her feeling of being respected in the WWE locker room and also revealed who her mentors have been throughout her career:
“It feels good. I think I’ve had a lot of help figuring out how to do this.
“In my first few years on the main roster, I was still NXT Women’s Champion and got to work with Naomi, Tamina and Natalya.
“I really saw what is right and what is wrong and how to take care of not only yourself but also the girls.
Together we are stronger, we really are. We look out for each other. But these girls, these three, really taught me how to be a leader…”
In July 2024, it was announced that Natalya had signed a new contract with WWE after much speculation that she would become a free agent.
Tamina was recently removed from WWE’s internal roster and a subsequent report confirmed that she will not be seen on screen in the future.
At WWE SummerSlam on August 3, 2024, Bayley lost the WWE Women’s Championship to Nia Jax. The highlights of the match can be found below this news.
