EastEnders has revealed a big twist in Nadine Keller’s baby storyline.
Nadine recently turned Jay Brown’s life upside down when she contacted him again and told him that she was pregnant with his child.
Despite his initial concerns, Jay began to rethink his animosity toward Nadine on Tuesday’s episode as Lexi opened up to the idea of him having another child.
After a touching conversation with Lexi, Jay invited Nadine over in the hopes of coming up with a plan.
When Jay confronted Nadine again, he couldn’t contain his anger and berated her for telling Lexi before she had a chance.
He also questioned the baby’s paternity, but Nadine turned the tables and insisted that they could pay for a paternity test if he wanted.
She even told him that they were expecting a girl and gave him an ultrasound picture.

Overwhelmed by his emotions, Jay promised to be there for Nadine and the baby and even gave her some money.
However, Nadine’s intentions became clear when she later answered a secret phone call and then pulled out a fake baby bump from under her top…
In next week’s scenes, Billy’s father Stevie arrives in Walford and immediately becomes suspicious of Nadine.
Jamie Borthwick, who plays Jay, said of the story: “Jay takes on a responsibility he doesn’t want.”
“We all know that Jay is a good man, as Perry Fenwick (Billy) calls him. He is a good man and he will certainly live up to his responsibilities. I think he is carried away by this dream, he believes in it and he has absolutely no reason not to believe in it.
“He is ready for anything and is there when he is needed because he is a good man.”
EastEnders airs Monday to Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show can also be streamed on BBC iPlayer.
